Delete Your Sonke Account

Sonke is owned and operated by UniHand through unihand.co.uk. This page explains how Sonke users can request deletion of their account and associated data.

Delete your account inside the app

  1. Open the Sonke app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm that you want to permanently delete your account and associated data.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, contact us through unihand.co.uk and include the email address or phone number connected to your Sonke account. We may ask for information needed to verify that you own the account before completing the request.

What is deleted:

Data we may keep for a limited period

Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, or compliance reasons. This may include transaction references, billing records, security logs, support history, and records needed to protect the service or comply with law.

Backup copies and logs may take additional time to expire from our systems. We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period and normally within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law or operational necessity.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete or update some business records directly in the app where the feature is available. You may also request deletion of specific data without deleting your whole account by contacting us through the app support section or through unihand.co.uk.
